FIR lodged after 3,400 SIR forms found in Navi Mumbai shop; 5 BLOs suspended

NAVI MUMBAI: The police have registered an FIR against Suraj Patil, a nodal BJP youth wing committee member, for illegally possessing and converting special intensive revision (SIR) voter enumeration forms for “personal use” and for breaking the maintenance of secrecy of voting under Section 314 of the BNS and Section 128 of the Representation of People Act.
