Ghaziabad Shaken By Double Murder: Man Kills Wife And Son, Attempts Suicide

Ghaziabad was shaken by a tragic incident as a man reportedly committed a double murder , taking the lives of his wife and son before attempting to end his own life.

Authorities were alerted to the situation, prompting a swift response from the police who discovered the man in a severely injured state. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Identified as Amardeep Sharma, the man was found injured at the scene, while his wife, Sonu, and their son, Vinayak, were discovered deceased in their residence located in E Block of Mahendra Enclave, within the jurisdiction of Kavinagar police station.



"The incident site was inspected. Forensic team is on the spot. Prima facie about the incident it appears that Amardeep Sharma has tried to commit suicide by killing his wife and child,"stated the police.

During his hospitalization, Sharma purportedly disclosed some details in a semi-conscious state. Additionally, a suicide note was recovered, where he purportedly expressed remorse for his actions, acknowledging the killings of his wife and child and indicating his intention to take his own life.

Authorities confirmed that evidence is being meticulously examined as investigations into the incident proceed.
