The UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026 has drawn high praise from international and domestic industry leaders, with top executives from Kubota Corporation and Spark Minda hailing Uttar Pradesh as a premier global manufacturing and investment hub. Highlighting the state's rapid infrastructural advancements and progressive policies under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, corporate leaders detailed ambitious expansion plans aimed at driving massive employment, accelerating electric vehicle (EV) technologies, and cementing long-term economic partnerships between Japan and India.
Speaking at the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony, Shingo Hanada, President and CEO of Kubota Corporation, Japan, emphasized that the company's new manufacturing facility marks a historic milestone in its enduring partnership with the state. Commending the active cooperation of Invest UP and the state administration, Hanada noted that Uttar Pradesh has rapidly transformed into one of India’s fastest-growing industrial centers.
