Govt pushes for better coordination among departments to fast-track deemed conveyance for 67,000 housing societies in state

Pune: State govt has directed the cooperation, revenue, land records and registration departments to work together to accelerate deemed conveyance for nearly 67,000 cooperative housing societies , ensuring ownership transfers are promptly reflected in land records.

Revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule issued the directions during a review meeting at Mantralaya on Tuesday, focusing on issues faced by housing societies, particularly those pursuing redevelopment and self-redevelopment. MLAs Pravin Darekar and Sanjay Kelkar were also present.
