Gurgaon EV buyers get full road tax waiver on vehicles up to Rs 30 lakh

GURGAON: Electric vehicle buyers in Gurgaon can now register their vehicles without paying motor vehicle tax, with the Haryana government’s new EV tax exemption policy coming into effect from August 21.

The exemption is giving buyers savings running into lakhs of rupees at the time of registration.

The first EVs under the new system were registered in the Gurgaon and Badshahpur subdivisions, officials said.
