'Gurgaon metro on track, Hisar manufacturing cluster clears hurdles': Haryana accelerates major infra projects
Chandigarh: Haryana chief secretary Anurag Rastogi on Wednesday directed authorities concerned to speed up execution of key infrastructure projects across the state for their timely completion.
At a high-level meeting of PRAGATI and the Project Monitoring Group , officials briefed the chief secretary on the progress of metro rail, industrial development, healthcare, logistics and power transmission projects.

Officials said the Rs 5,452.7-crore Gurgaon Metro project, which will link Millennium City Centre with Cyber City and extend to Dwarka Expressway, is moving as planned, with work permits for govt land obtained and site work initiated.
The Rs 4,679-crore Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Hisar has also cleared major hurdles. All required land is now under govt control and environmental clearance has been secured, official said, adding that 10 bids received under the Rs 707-crore EPC tender are under evaluation.
Progress on the Rs 1,646.4-crore AIIMS Majra project in Rewari was reviewed. The Rewari deputy commissioner said technical sanction of Rs 236 crore has been approved for road and rail-over-bridge connectivity.
Officials said the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub at Nangal Chaudhary is advancing, with Phase I covering 408 acres. Land has been transferred to the special purpose vehicle, external connectivity and the internal rail yard are complete, and the concessionaire RFP process is underway.
The meeting also reviewed power transmission projects and works linked to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor .
