INLD chief Abhay attacks Hoodas, BJP in Bhiwani
Bhiwani : Indian National Lok Dal ( INLD ) president Abhay Singh Chautala on Monday stepped up the attack on the BJP govt and the Hooda family , alleging “collusion” between the two.
Taking aim at Congress MP Deepender Hooda , Chautala alleged that he was a “BJP agent” and questioned the Hooda camp’s role in the 2022 Rajya Sabha elections.
Chautala had made similar allegations against the Hooda leadership in the past as well.
He also targeted Bhupinder Singh Hooda , the leader of the opposition in the Haryana assembly and former CM, alleging that he had been “elbowing out” political rivals who came in his way.
Chautala also took a swipe at CM Nayab Singh Saini over his visits to Punjab. He claimed that the state govt had failed to address issues of crime, unemployment and farmers’ concerns.
Chautala had gone to Bhiwani on Monday to condole the death of party district president Ashok Dhani Mahu. He said Ashok Dhani was not merely a party functionary but a member of his family.
He also announced that the INLD would hold a rally in Nuh on Sept 27 to mark the birth anniversary of former deputy PM Devi Lal , claiming it would trigger a “big change” in Haryana politics.
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday celebrations, Chautala condemned the BJP’s outreach involving 5 kg of foodgrains, claiming that those being mobilised through such programmes would eventually turn against the party.
He further alleged that farmers were being forced to sell bajra and paddy below the MSP and claimed that several gangs had gained influence in Haryana under govt protection.
