The highly anticipated second chapter of the Wicked film adaptation has hit cinemas this month, drawing from the phenomenally successful stage musical.

The story unfolds in the era preceding The Wizard of Oz, chronicling Elphaba's unexpected bond with Glinda and the circumstances that lead to the familiar tale of The Wizard of Oz.

Indeed, Jonathan Bailey possesses singing talent and has a background in musical theatre. At just seven years old, he began his stage career, taking on the roles of Tiny Tim and young Scrooge in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of A Christmas Carol.

He later graced the stage in major West End productions such as American Psycho The Musical, Certain Young Men, and the Olivier Award-winning Company.
