Karnataka minister Nagendra denies resignation reports, says claims 'completely untrue'
BENGALURU: Karnataka Planning and Statistics Minister B Nagendra on Wednesday dismissed media reports that he had offered to resign, calling them “completely untrue”.
Speculation was rife that Nagendra had met Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and offered to step down, saying he did not want to cause further embarrassment to the party leadership.
Rejecting the reports, Nagendra said he had neither received a call from the Chief Minister’s Office nor held any discussion on his resignation.
