Major UK cafe chain to open first ever drive-thru in May - and plans 400 more

A popular UK chain is set to open its first drive-through this May. Unlike some of its competitors, Pret A Manger had not previously had a drive-through - but this is set to change. Pret is a top choice of coffee shop for a huge amount of Brits. With its selection of hot drinks, pastries and sandwiches, Pret is a firm favourite for many.

The chain is a high-street staple for lunch, breakfast or a coffee break. Now, it will be available for drivers. While the location of its first drive-through is top secret, it will be tucked into a roadside forecourt. The site is launching in partnership with petrol station operator, Motor Fuel Group.
