Noida Residents Act Swiftly, Rescue Man Attempting To Jump From 14th Floor – See Viral Video
A potentially tragic event was averted in Noida when quick-thinking neighbours saved a man who attempted to jump from the 14th floor of Supertech Capetown in Sector 74. The incident, caught on video, shows the man, reportedly struggling with mental health issues, dangling from a balcony railing before being rescued by alert residents.
The video, widely shared on social media, begins with the man visibly distressed, clinging to the railing as onlookers shout in panic. In a heart-stopping moment, two brave neighbours rushed to his aid, managing to pull him to safety just in time.
The video was shared by social media user Dr. Mehak Janjua on X, who praised the heroic efforts of the residents. “Bravery and quick action saved a life today in Supertech Capetown, Sector 74, Noida. A man about to jump from... was rescued by alert residents,” she wrote.
Following the rescue, police were immediately informed. The man, who had been living separately from his family, was handed over to his relatives. His family later revealed that he has been battling mental health issues and is undergoing treatment.
In a separate incident just a day earlier, tragedy struck in Noida’s Sector 134 when an 18-year-old domestic worker fell to her death from a high-rise building. While initial reports pointed to suicide, her family suspects foul play, and her employer has since been booked for murder.
Both incidents highlight the growing concerns around mental health and the importance of community awareness in preventing tragedies.
