Shivamogga: Tree falls on railway track, Talaguppa-Bengaluru train halted

Shivamogga: The Talaguppa-Bengaluru train was halted after a tree fell on the railway track near Arasalu in Shivamogga district on Tuesday (September 15).

The train had departed from Talaguppa at 5.20 am and was carrying hundreds of passengers returning to Bengaluru after the festival. It was scheduled to reach Shivamogga at 7 am and Bengaluru at noon.

However, the train was stopped between Aanekere and Nevatthur villages after the tree fell on the track near Arasalu.

Railway department personnel are carrying out work to remove the fallen tree. The disruption has caused inconvenience to passengers travelling to Bengaluru.
