Tulu movie: 'Belladgatti' release date announced

Manipal: Raja Katapady’s much-awaited Tulu film Belladgatti is all set to hit the screens on November 20. The film, which has generated curiosity for several reasons, promises a blend of humour and mystery.

The film team has already held a premiere show in Muscat and is now preparing to bring Belladgatti before Tulu audiences.

Directed by Raja Katapady, the film combines comedy with a mysterious storyline.

Raja Katapady has also written the story and screenplay and acted in the film.

The movie has been produced by Ramakrishna Sujeer Bardila under the Katapady banner of Kateel Prasad Production.

Story set in 1980s Tulunadu

Belladgatti is set in a family in Tulunadu during the 1980s. The story explores themes such as belief, superstition and curses, woven into a narrative that also carries elements of mystery and humour.

Prajwal Suvarna has handled the cinematography. He has also taken care of the editing and VFX for the film.
