'Very demotivated': IAS officer Neha Marvya Singh voices anguish over fourth transfer in a year
BHOPAL: A transfer order issued by the Madhya Pradesh govt has brought into focus the frustrations of an IAS officer who says frequent changes in postings have left her "very demotivated".
Neha Marvya Singh , a 2011-batch IAS officer, was among officers shifted in the Sept 5 administrative reshuffle . She was moved from the post of director, Tribal Area Development and Planning, and given charge as managing director of the Scheduled Tribe Finance Development Corporation .
In a message shared in an IAS officers' social media group, Singh said the latest transfer came only 50 days after her previous posting and was her fourth transfer in the past year. "I am very demotivated," she wrote, questioning the repeated changes in her assignments.
Singh alleged that some employees in her previous department had created an atmosphere of rebellion against her and threatened to get her transferred. The officer said she respected every government order and had carried out her responsibilities with dedication in every posting. However, she said the latest decision had caused deep disappointment.
Her message prompted reactions from former IAS officers, some of whom recalled their own experiences with frequent transfers and service-related pressures . tnn
