Netflix's latest offering, No One Saw Us Leave, is a gripping drama based on the heart-wrenching true story of Valeria Goldberg (portrayed by Tessa Ia), whose children were kidnapped by her husband Leo Saltzman (Emiliano Zurita) during the tumultuous 1960s, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The five-part series, inspired by the 2020 memoir Nadie nos vio partir (No One Saw Us Leave) penned by the abducted daughter Tamara Trottner, showcases Valeria's relentless pursuit to reclaim her two children, even going as far as recruiting a former Mossad agent for assistance.

The Netflix show boasts an impressive cast and is narrated from Valeria's perspective, even though the book was told from Tamara's viewpoint during her and her brother's abduction.

Leo, driven by revenge after Valeria's infidelity and under his father's influence, took their children away.

Valeria faced severe criticism from her Mexican-Jewish community; however, her family stood by her side in her battle to bring back Tamara (Marion Siro) and Isaac (Alexander Varela), even as Leo attempted to turn them against her.

Viewers are eager to discover how this psychological thriller concludes and what becomes of Valeria.

Did Valeria get Tamara and Isaac back?

In short, yes. The final episode sees Valeria finally locating Leo, who had been globe-trotting to avoid his wife, with stops in France, South Africa and Israel.

Following a custody trial in Jerusalem, Leo and the children returned to their native Mexico.

However, he hadn't revealed his whereabouts, and Valeria worried that Leo had fled once more.

Fortunately, it wasn't long before the three were located.

In the final moments, Leo willingly handed his two children over to Valeria.

He'd even packed their belongings into two suitcases as he tearfully said goodbye to Tamara and Isaac.

Despite the children being distressed, they accompanied their mother.

She'd previously made considerable efforts to regain their trust after Leo had claimed Valeria never wanted to see them again.

Leo had eventually admitted to the children that he'd been dishonest about her.
