CAT 2026 registration closes tomorrow at 5 pm: Check form correction details
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will close the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 tomorrow, September 22. Candidates who are yet to apply for the management entrance exam can submit their forms through the official website, iimcat.ac.in , by 5 pm.
The registration deadline was earlier September 15. IIM Indore later extended the deadline to give candidates more time to complete the application process. The institute has said that the revised deadline will not be extended further under any circumstances.
CAT 2026 exam date
As per the official schedule, CAT 2026 will be held on Sunday, November 29. The exam will be conducted in three sessions at designated test centres across 170 cities in India.
The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website from November 4.
CAT 2026 exam pattern
The CAT 2026 question paper will have three sections. The exam will be conducted for a total of 120 minutes.
Candidates will have a strict sectional time limit of 40 minutes for each section.
CAT 2026 application edit window
After the registration window closes, IIM Indore will open a short edit window for candidates who have already submitted their applications.
However, candidates will be allowed to make changes only in selected fields. These include:
