The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened registration for the CTET December 2025 exam. CBSE CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements based on the paper they intend to appear for:

• Paper I (Classes I-V): Candidates should have completed or be in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Paper II (Classes VI-VIII): Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a two-year B.Ed or a four-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Note: There is no upper age limit to appear for the CTET 2025 exam.

• SC / ST / PwD: ₹500 for one paper | ₹600 for both papers

The CTET exam consists of two papers:
