CBSE Class 12 Revaluation 2026: Check Last Date, Direct Application Link, Fees And Process
The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the class 12 revaluation after there were concerns regarding their original evaluation and the newly introduced On-Screen Marking System (OSM). Students who want their answer sheets reviewed can apply through the official CBSE portals from May 19.
The board has reduced the cost of getting photocopies of evaluated answer sheets from Rs 700 to Rs 100. The verification fee has also been cut from Rs 500 to Rs 100.
Students who want to get a specific question checked needs to be re-checked will have to pay rupees 25 per question.

CBSE has issued a structured process for students applying for re-evaluation.
Step 1: Apply for scanned answer sheet
Students must first request a scanned copy of the evaluated answer sheet for the concerned subject.
Step 2: Check the marking carefully
After receiving the scanned copy, students should compare the evaluation with the official CBSE marking scheme.
Step 3: Report discrepancies
If any mismatch, unchecked answers or any other sort of issue is found by the student then students can submit their observation to the board.
Step 4: Expert review and final decision
A subject expert committee will examine the request before issuing the final decision.
CBSE started accepting requests for re-evaluation from May 19. Applications for the process will begin from May 22. Students will be able to access their rechecked answer sheets between May 26 and May 29.
Students planning to apply have been advised to carefully review their scanned answer sheets before raising objections, as the board will examine only the submitted discrepancies during the review process.
This year around 17,68,968 appeared for the CBSE class twelve boards and 15,07,109 students passed the exam with pass percentage hovering around 85.20%.
