Delhi University has established new rules regarding the selection process and eligibility criteria for students, research scholars, and faculty members participating in mobility programs. These rules define the qualifications, selection committee structure, and evaluation standards for applicants across various categories.

The selection of students will be based on their academic record, an interview, and other specified criteria. For PhD scholars, particular emphasis will be placed on their research proposal and the availability of an invitation letter or offer from a foreign university. The Erasmus program serves as an exchange initiative, facilitating study, research, and academic experience abroad. Applicants must be currently registered as students at Delhi University.

Students must not have any pending papers (backlogs) from previous semesters. Additional requirements include a minimum attendance of 66.67 percent, proficiency in the required language, and a passport with a validity of at least two years. A minimum CGPA of 7.5 is required for students in the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories, while a minimum CGPA of 6.5 is required for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.
