HBSE Begins Evaluation for 2025 Board Exams; Class 10, 12 Results Expected in May

The Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE) has initiated the assessment process for the 2025 board exam answer sheets. This year, the Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 28 to March 19, while the Class 12 exams ran from February 27 to March 29.

The evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets started on April 2 and will continue until April 22. The board has established 78 evaluation centers across all 22 districts in the state, with approximately 7,030 teachers assigned to assess the answer sheets.

For the Senior Secondary (Educational/Open School) exams held in February/March 2025, the evaluation process began on April 3 and will conclude on April 24. Around 4,812 professors have been appointed to evaluate these answer sheets.


Board Officials Announce Result Timeline
Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar, Chairman of the Haryana School Education Board, and Dr. Munish Nagpal (HPS), Secretary, stated that the results for both Secondary and Senior Secondary (Educational/Open School) exams will be declared within 45 days of the evaluation completion.

Strict Evaluation Guidelines in Place
Prof. Pawan Kumar outlined the evaluation process, stating that on the first day, each examiner must assess 15 answer sheets, followed by 30 sheets daily thereafter. Additionally, 10% of the checked answer sheets will undergo random re-evaluation by the Chief Examiner to ensure accuracy.


He emphasized that evaluators must maintain high standards and complete the process within the given timeframe, as students' futures depend on fair and timely results. The board is taking strict measures to uphold the integrity of the evaluation system.

Enhanced Monitoring to Ensure Fair Assessment
For the first time, the board has deployed flying squads comprising the Board President, Vice President, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Secretary to supervise evaluation centers. Additionally, full-time observers have been appointed to monitor the marking process closely.
