IBPS RRB recruitment 2026: Registration ends tomorrow for over 13,000 posts, direct link to apply here
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ( IBPS ) will close the registration process for the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026 tomorrow, September 21. Candidates who have not yet applied for Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III posts can submit their applications through the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
IBPS has also revised the tentative vacancies for the recruitment drive. The number of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) vacancies has been increased from 8,183 to 8,222.
There is no change in the vacancies for Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III. After the revision, the recruitment drive will fill a total of 13,745 posts.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Revised vacancies
The updated post-wise vacancy details are as follows:
The Office Assistant vacancies have increased by 39 posts from the earlier figure of 8,183.
IBPS has clarified that the vacancies are indicative and tentative. The final provisional allotment will depend on the actual number of vacancies reported by the participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).
The revised vacancies were updated as on September 9, 2026 and have been included in Annexure I of the detailed notification issued on September 1, 2026.
IBPS has also said that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the detailed notification will remain unchanged.
IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Application fee
Candidates have to pay the application fee based on their category.
The fee applies to candidates applying for Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III posts.
Candidates can pay the fee through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards and mobile wallets, as per the payment options available on the application portal.

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the application process:
Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in. Click on the IBPS RRB recruitment registration link on the homepage. A new page will open. Enter the required registration details. Complete the registration process and log in using the required credentials. Fill out the application form. Upload the required details and documents. Pay the application fee. Check all the details carefully before submitting the form. Submit the application and download the confirmation page. Keep a hard copy of the submitted application for future reference.
