India to grant Thai nationals free 30-day e-Tourist visa with double entry till 2027
The Embassy of India in Bangkok has announced that Thai nationals will be eligible for a 30-day e-Tourist visa with double entry on a gratis basis, in a move set to ease travel for tourists from Thailand.
In a press release shared on X by the handle @IndiainThailand, the Embassy said the Government of India will grant the visa free of cost, and that the arrangement will stay in force till December 31, 2027, or until further orders are issued.

How to apply
Thai nationals can apply for the e-Tourist visa through the official portal, indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. As per the notification, the visa will be issued without any fee under this arrangement.
Validity of the scheme
The gratis, double-entry facility applies specifically to the 30-day e-Tourist visa category and will remain valid till the end of 2027, subject to any further orders from the government.
The announcement comes amid India's continued push to strengthen tourism and people-to-people ties with Southeast Asian nations.
