The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board ( MPESB ) will close the registration process for the MP Police Subedar and Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2026 tomorrow, September 23. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied can submit their forms through the official website at esb.mp.gov.in.
The recruitment drive is being conducted for 504 posts in the Madhya Pradesh Police. The posts include Subedar, non-technical Sub-Inspector and technical Sub-Inspector positions.

MP Police SI recruitment 2026 : Eligibility
Candidates must be Indian citizens. Applicants from outside Madhya Pradesh can apply only under the Unreserved (UR) Open category. Reservation and age relaxation benefits are available only to permanent Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates.
For Subedar, Sub-Inspector (SAF) and Sub-Inspector (DEF), candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
For the Sub-Inspector (Arms) post, candidates need a three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector (Photo), Sub-Inspector (Questioned Documents) and Sub-Inspector (Finger Print) posts must have a bachelor's degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The maximum age depends on the candidate's category and status. Age will be calculated as of September 23, 2026. The upper age limit ranges from 33 to 43 years as specified in the notification. Candidates from other states will not get age relaxation.
Physical standards
Male candidates must have a minimum height of 167.5 cm. Their chest measurement should be at least 81 cm when unexpanded and 86 cm when expanded, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152.4 cm.
The required unaided vision is 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worse eye for both male and female candidates.
Candidates who qualify in the written examinations will have to appear for the prescribed physical and other selection stages.
