UP NEET UG counselling 2026: Round 2 merit list out at upneet.gov.in; direct link here
The Uttar Pradesh government has released the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate ( UP NEET UG ) Counselling 2026 Round 2 merit list today, September 21. Candidates who registered for the second round of counselling can check the merit list through the official website at upneet.gov.in .
The state government has also revised the Round 2 counselling schedule. Candidates included in the merit list can now take part in the choice-filling process as per the revised dates.
Important dates
As per the revised schedule, choice filling will begin today, September 21, at 2 pm. Candidates can submit their choices until September 24 at 11 am.
The Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on September 25. Candidates who are allotted seats will be able to download their allotment letters from September 26 to October 1.
The Round 2 seat allotment will be made on the basis of the merit list released by the state government.
How to check Round 2 merit list
Candidates can follow these steps to check their merit status:
Visit the official UP NEET website at upneet.gov.in. Click on the UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 merit list link on the homepage. The merit list will open on the screen. Check the details in the merit list. Download the list and keep a copy for future reference.

Important instruction for allotted candidates
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the second round of counselling will have to take admission to the allotted seat in a government or private medical or dental college.
If a candidate does not take admission to the seat allotted in Round 2, the entire security deposit will be forfeited. Such candidates will be allowed to participate in the third round of counselling only after depositing the security amount again.
Candidates are advised to check the revised counselling schedule carefully and complete the choice-filling and admission process within the prescribed deadlines. Further updates will be available on the official UP NEET website.
