The Truth About Anant Ambani’s Health: His Unseen Struggles And Transformation
Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Indian billionaire and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. He serves as a Director on the boards of Reliance Retail Ventures and Reliance Platforms, and is currently leading the conglomerate's expansion in renewable energy. The Vantara animal rescue center in Jamnagar is another project spearheaded by him.
Despite high-profile stature, Anant has always been open about his health conditions. He has spoken about his lifelong health struggles, which includes Asthma, Cushing’s Syndrome and morbid obesity. Regardless of these physical challenges, he has not let them affect his mental well-being. In an interview with India Today, he shared that his parents' unwavering support never made him feel unwell and has never let the public scrutiny affect him. "Mere mataji aur pitaji ne kabhi mujhe yeh bhi feel hone nai dia ki mei thoda bhi beemar hu. Aur jaisa aap bol rahe thei aaju baju wale joh bolte hai unse mujhe kuch lena dena nai hai. Kyuki bolne wale ka kaam hai bolna aur unko bhi, hame bhi yaha jeena hai. Hum sab haath jodhkar jeeye,” he said.
Mother’s Unwavering Support
Despite facing several health challenges, Anant Ambani has always remained positive, mainly due to the strong family support. His mother Nita Ambani once mentioned in her speech once about his resilience and determination. In 2016, Anant Ambani underwent a striking transformation by losing around 108 kgs in 18 months through strenuous exercise. Nita Ambani once said "Whatever he ate, I ate. Whenever he exercised, I did too. If he went for a walk, I would go along," showcasing her support. Anant Ambani also credited Radhika Merchant as a “strong pillar of support” during his most difficult times.
