Ankita Lokhande Embarks on a 'Fresh Journey' Post Bigg Boss 17, Set to Shine in Randeep Hooda's Upcoming Movie
After the culmination of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande is gearing up for a comeback on the silver screen. The actress is set to appear in the upcoming movie "Swatantra Veer Savarkar," starring Randeep Hooda . Ankita shared the news on her Twitter handle, revealing that the film is scheduled to release on March 22, 2024. She expressed her excitement about embarking on this "new chapter" post her Bigg Boss 17 journey feels “extra special”.

The biopic "Swatantra Veer Savarkar" revolves around Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and marks Randeep Hooda's directorial debut. Legal issues arose last year when Hooda asserted complete ownership of the film, leading to a dispute. Initially slated to direct, Mahesh Manjrekar claimed he departed from the project citing interference from Randeep Hooda as the reason.
Recently, Ankita Lokhande exited the Bigg Boss 17 house, where she reached the finals alongside Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Arun Mashetty, and Mannara Chopra on Salman Khan's show. The grand finale took place on Sunday, January 28, with Munawar emerging as the winner. Vicky Jain, Ankita's businessman husband and a fellow contestant, attended the finale along with Ankita's mother and mother-in-law, offering their support to the actress.
