Arjun Rampal Reminisces Struggling With A Slip Disc During Intense Stunt Shoot For 'Crakk'
The much-awaited trailer of the film ' Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa ,' starring Arjun Rampal and Vidyut Jammwal, has finally arrived, igniting a storm of excitement online. Enthusiastic cinephiles are lauding the trailer for its stunning visuals and adrenaline-pumping action sequences. Both actors pushed their limits to deliver a captivating experience, executing breathtaking stunts themselves. However, this commitment took a toll on their physical well-being. At the Mumbai trailer launch event, Arjun revealed that he drew inspiration from Vidyut for the intense stunts but admitted to suffering a slipped disc during one particularly challenging sequence. This unexpected setback compelled the team to delay shooting for approximately 2-3 weeks.
The star of Om Shanti Om opened up, saying, “Crakk was one of the most physically challenging films. We were told that there will be a lot of action and it will be amazing. I was told that I’ll be able to do all of it. But when you hug Vidyut, you feel muscles which you didn’t even know existed in human bodies. I am quite a fit guy, so I was like ‘What kind of animal is he?’ I really had to up my game in that department. I was so inspired and in such awe in this movie, watching all these people do their thing. So I had to constantly push myself. I had to say I want to do it again. In that process, I suffered a slipped disc and was laid up in bed.”
After sustaining a slip disc injury on the set of ' Crakk : Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa,' the production team exhibited compassion by halting shooting for nearly two to three weeks, ensuring Arjun Rampal's recovery before resuming filming. However, on the last day of shooting, despite the precautionary measures, Vidyut Jammwal stood by Rampal's side as his mended discs became displaced once more, prompting the Ra.One star to revisit the hospital for treatment.
In an unexpected twist, Nora Fatehi , inspired by the commitment of Arjun and Vidyut, bravely chose to undertake her stunts without a stunt double. However, her decision posed its own set of challenges. Reflecting on a particular scene alongside Vidyut, Nora recounted the intensity of the moment, where both actors were propelled at full speed while tethered to a rope. Unfortunately, Nora stumbled during the sequence, unnoticed by Vidyut, resulting in her being dragged across the concrete. Despite safety measures in place, the mishap left Nora in considerable pain. She candidly shared her emotional response, admitting to sobbing like a child in her vanity van following the incident.
