Berserk Officially Returns With A New ART OF WAR Release This October
Berserk fans are set to receive another high-end collectible inspired by one of the manga’s most dramatic battles. Japanese collectible maker ART OF WAR has announced Tentacle Ship 2026, a premium Guts figure based on the Fantasia arc. Standing 52 centimetres tall, the handcrafted release captures Guts in his bloodied Berserker Armor during the terrifying confrontation aboard a ghost ship. Only 77 units will be produced, making it an especially limited release.
The figure draws its inspiration from the Fantasia arc, during the journey towards Elfhelm.
Guts and his companions were travelling aboard the Seahorse when they encountered a ghost ship under the command of Captain Bonebeard. What initially appeared to be an ordinary enemy vessel soon revealed a far more disturbing nature.
The ship itself was a living entity, and monstrous tentacles began overwhelming the deck as the Sea God threatened those aboard.
Facing an increasingly dangerous supernatural enemy, Guts once again relied on the power of the Berserker Armor. The battle went on to provide the visual basis for ART OF WAR’s latest premium release.
The figure is priced at 320,000 yen, which is approximately US$2,150. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on October 2, 2026, at 1 p.m. Japan Standard Time through the manufacturer’s official sales channels.
Buyers who secure an order are expected to receive their figures from April 2027.
The limited production run is likely to make the release particularly appealing to dedicated Berserk collectors, especially given the detailed craftsmanship associated with ART OF WAR's premium statues.
Collectors will receive interchangeable heads representing both Guts and his Berserker form. An alternative chin guard component is also included, allowing owners to alter the appearance of the figure.
The package will additionally contain a miniature wolf figure and a crystal piece designed to fit into the eye of the skull figurehead.
These elements give collectors greater flexibility when setting up the display.
The cape appears worn and frayed, with carefully applied shading intended to recreate the harsh atmosphere of the battle at sea. The blood effects on the armour and Dragon Slayer further reinforce the violent nature of the encounter.
One of the most distinctive parts of the statue is the enormous skull figurehead.
Although it represents part of the ghost ship, the sculpt has been designed to resemble weathered wood. Small details, including barnacles attached to its surface, add to the aged and sea-worn appearance.
According to the manufacturer, the original version of this design was released around a decade ago and received strong appreciation from collectors. Tentacle Ship 2026 revisits that concept with a more advanced level of realism and visual presence.
The publication schedule has remained gradual, although readers received three chapters in relatively quick succession earlier this year after a lengthy wait.
