Bhumi Pednekar Reminisces About 'Badhaai Do' On Its 2-Year Anniversary: ‘Grateful For Love, Endless Smiles’

Actress Bhumi Pednekar expressed her gratitude as her romantic drama film ' Badhaai Do ' celebrated its second anniversary on Sunday. In celebration, Bhumi shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the film.

In the movie, Bhumi portrayed the character of Suman Singh, a 31-year-old physical education teacher, who harbors feelings for women. To evade familial pressure, she enters into a marriage with Shardul Thakur , a cop played by Rajkummar Rao . However, the plot takes an unexpected turn when Rajkummar's character discloses that he too identifies as homosexual, adding a unique twist to the narrative.

Harshvardhan Kulkarni directs 'Badhaai Do,' which serves as a sequel to the National Award-winning film 'Badhaai Ho.' The original starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.

Bhumi is currently garnering acclaim for her role in 'Bhakshak.' Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film delves into the story of a determined woman's fight for justice.
