Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh returned to 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ' after two years. He first appeared on the show in 2024, where he performed "G.O.A.T” as a musical guest. Now, in 2026, Diljit made his comeback on this episode that aired on 27 April, this time as a full talk-show guest to promote his new album, Aura.

The video also showed Diljit teaching Jimmy some Punjabi phrases. Jimmy tried his best to say the singer’s iconic catchphrase, “Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye”, sparking laughter with his amusing delivery. However, he impressed Diljit Dosanjh with his smooth pronunciation of the Punjabi greeting “Sat Sri Akal”. Dosanjh also performed his track ‘Morni’ on the show. Another highlight was Jimmy surprising Diljit, who is often seen wearing black gloves during his performances - with a custom pair of white gloves featuring The Tonight Show logo.
