According to the report, the film generated ₹1.15 crore on its debut day. Early estimates indicate that on the second day, it earned ₹1.96 crore nett in India. The total earnings for the film in India now stand at ₹3.11 crore.
Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav are credited as the writers of the film, which is produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios. The backing for "Main Atal Hoon" comes from Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan, and Kamlesh Bhanushali. This biopic focuses on Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the recipient of the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor.

In a recent interview with news agency ANI, Pankaj Tripathi shared insights into his preparation for portraying the late PM Vajpayee. He expressed, “After preparing and reading about Atal ji's characteristics, you would not feel the same way about modern-day leaders. Politicians, who were not just his opponents but even his staunchest critics, respected him and adhered to his legislative etiquette.”
He added further, “It is tough to find an opponent for Atal in Indian politics. I was wondering if I could do justice to this. But I have attended two of Atal ji's political rallies. I went to listen to him, standing in the crowd five hundred metres away.”
