Palak Muchhal's 'Jai Shri Ram' Bhajan Goes Viral, Capturing Hearts Ahead of Ram Mandir Inauguration
Singer Palak Muchhal , in celebration of the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , has garnered attention with her newly released bhajan, " Jai Shri Ram ," which has quickly gone viral on various social media platforms.
Expressing her joy at the positive reception, Muchhal shared, “Right now everyone is expressing their bhakti in their own way. Being a singer, this is the best way I can express my emotion.”
The 31-year-old artist, who also penned the bhajan, reminisced about singing it as a prayer with her grandfather. “I come from a household where we say ‘ Ram Ram ’ instead of good morning. It is something I’ve been living with since I was a kid. I feel any form of art is an expression of devotion,” she explained.
Expressing her delight that "Jai Shri Ram" has struck a chord with the younger generation, Muchhal remarked, “I’ve tried to incorporate small things in the video which the youngsters are relating to.”
The singer chose not to release the song through a label or movie, emphasising that it was her personal " aahooti " (offering) in the yagna. She stated, “I wanted to keep the entire experience personal.”
