In her most recent work, Parineeti Chopra starred alongside Akshay Kumar in the Tinu Suresh Desai-directed film "Mission Ranihanj." The movie centered around the true story of mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who successfully rescued 60 trapped miners from a flooded coal mine, and garnered positive acclaim for its thrilling narrative. Parineeti has secured a role in director Imtiaz Ali's upcoming project, "Chamkila," this year. In the film, she is paired with Diljit Dosanjh , and the storyline centers around two Punjabi singers, Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila . Diljit will portray the character of Amarjot Kaur, while Parineeti will take on the role of Amar Singh Chamkila.
