Shraddha Kapoor Discusses Future Projects Post 'Stree 2': 'Ek Hai Mythological Zone Se, Ek Time Travel...'
Having marked her entry into Bollywood with the 2013 film 'Aashiqui 2,' Shraddha Kapoor has now accumulated over a decade of diverse roles in the industry. From engaging in horror comedies to captivating dance dramas, she has consistently showcased her talent across a spectrum of projects. Her versatility suggests an ongoing commitment to exploring varied roles in her future endeavors. Notably, she has disclosed her involvement in upcoming films centered around the themes of time travel and mythology.
During an interaction with her fans, Shraddha shared, “Toh dekho abhi, Stree 2 hai. Aur 2-3 filme abhi develop ho rahi hai aur both interesting zone me hai. Aur mai chahti hu ki mai jo bhi kaam karu vo mai sabse best karu. Zyada kuch nahi batana chahungi aap sab ko lekin, jo filme develop bhi ho rahi hai vo ek hai mythological zone se adapted kuch ho raha hai aur ek time travel ke zone me hai. So, these are coming up. Hopefully, aap sab excited honge aur, of course, Stree 2 aa rahi hai. (Now, Stree 2 is coming. There are 2-3 more films that are being developed right now. I want to be the best at whatever I do. I won’t tell you much except that one film is adapted from the mythological zone, and the other is in the time travel zone).”
Shraddha Kapoor was initially set to lead a trilogy centered around a 'naagin,' but unfortunately, the project has been shelved. Her most recent appearance was alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the film ' Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar .'
About 'Stree 2'
The forthcoming film serves as a sequel to the successful 2018 release, 'Stree.' Directed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree 2' features a stellar cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, and Aparshakti Khurana. Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia is set to make a cameo appearance in the movie. As per reports, the film is slated for a theatrical release on August 30, 2024.
