Sushmita Sen Expresses Belief in Daughter Renee's Acting Skills, Unveils 'Taiyaari Chaalu Hai'
Sushmita Sen , a highly skilled actress, has captivated audiences with her acting abilities and formidable on-screen charisma over the years. The talented actress is also a mother to two daughters, Renee and Alisah. It seems that Renee, her elder daughter, is poised to embark on a path similar to her mother's in the world of acting.
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Sushmita Sen said, “Renee wants to be an actor. And she will be a very good actor. Taiyaari chaalu hai.” Renee made her acting debut in the 2021 short film called Suttabaazi. She also lent her voice to the Mahamrityunjai mantra in Sushmita’s web series Taali.
In 2021, Renee told Vogue India, “I am going to make my own shoes and fill them. I am not my mother’s clone, so I don’t want to be another her. We are all individuals, and she always encourages us to be our own person—have our own opinions and share our opinions respectfully without hurting anyone’s sentiments.”
In the preceding year, Renee shared a rendition of Adele's popular track "Set Fire To The Rain," earning accolades from fans and admirers across the online community. Her mother also gave her a shoutout, and Renee expressed gratitude to her for being the primary source of strength and encouragement.

She doesn’t pressurise us in any way. She is really motivating. I am so happy I can talk to her. Our relationship has changed now that we are in the same field.”
On the professional front, Sushmita Sen is gearing up for the upcoming release of the final installment of her acclaimed series "Aarya." Titled "Aarya – The Final Chapter," the show is set to debut on Disney+Hotstar on February 9, 2024.
