New York’s Madison Avenue turned into a vibrant celebration of Indian heritage on Sunday, August 16, as the 44th Annual India Day Parade drew an estimated 200,000 spectators. Organised under the theme ‘Harmony in Heritage’, the event brought together Indian-American communities, cultural groups, performers and public figures for an afternoon of music, dance and celebration.
