BTS’s V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has stepped forward with a generous donation of 200 million KRW (approximately 136,277 USD) to support wildfire relief efforts in South Korea. His contribution aims to aid victims and improve conditions for the brave firefighters battling these devastating blazes.

A Thoughtful Gesture in a Time of Crisis
On March 31, the Korean Red Cross confirmed that V’s donation would be evenly split—100 million KRW (around 68,138 USD) will go towards assisting wildfire victims, while the other half will be used to enhance firefighter safety and working conditions.

Expressing his heartfelt concern, V shared, “I sincerely honor those affected by this sudden disaster and the firefighters, response crews, and volunteers who risk their safety on the front lines.”

He revealed that while serving in the military, he closely followed news updates about the wildfires.“While serving in the military, I watched the news during evening roll call, and it deeply saddened me. Thinking that some of my fellow soldiers’ families might have been affected made it even more concerning. Fortunately, the fires have been mostly contained, but I sincerely hope there will be no further casualties. I also wish for my donation to provide even the smallest help” he said.
