K-pop sensation NewJeans has once again touched hearts, this time through an act of kindness. On December 19, the group’s members—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein—made a significant donation to support children and teens who shoulder family caregiving responsibilities due to age, disability, or illness. The donation, made under the name of their fan club, Bunnies, highlights the group’s commitment to meaningful causes.
The members contributed a whopping 100 million won (around $68,900) to ChildFund Korea (Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation). The funds will aid 30 families across South Korea by addressing essential needs like housing, education, healthcare, and daily living expenses. Additionally, the donation aims to empower these young caregivers with career development and employment opportunities, fostering their independence.
