Meet TNX: The New Six

For those new to the K-pop scene, TNX, short for The New Six, is a South Korean boy band that emerged from the survival audition program Loud, produced by P Nation. The group, consisting of six talented members—Kyungjun, Taehun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi, and Sungjun—officially made their debut on May 17, 2022, with the release of their first extended play (EP) titled "Way Up."

The New Six's genesis traces back to the SBS K-pop reality competition, Loud, which brought together contestants from various countries to showcase their skills and vie for a spot in two new boy groups—one under JYP Entertainment and the other under P Nation. Psy and Park Jin-young, two influential figures in the K-pop industry, spearheaded this collaboration.

Loud premiered on June 5, 2021, and aired every Saturday at 21:00 PM KST on SBS. The show's finale on September 11, 2021, saw P Nation debuting seven members. However, on January 24, 2022, P Nation revealed that Koki Tanaka, a 13-year-old member at the time, left the group to continue his training at P Nation, resulting in TNX becoming a six-member group.

On March 29, 2022, P Nation officially christened the group as TNX (The New Six), setting the stage for their debut on May 17, 2022.

As TNX fans eagerly anticipate the group's upcoming digital single and mini-album, Cheon Jun Hyeok's return brings an extra dose of excitement to the K-pop landscape. Stay tuned for more catchy tunes and captivating performances from TNX in the months ahead!
