David Koepp, renowned for writing the original 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park and its 1997 sequel Jurassic Park: The Lost World for Steven Spielberg , has joined the team to write the sequel to 2022's Jurassic World Dominion.
The recent publication indicated that the upcoming movie is poised to usher in a "fresh Jurassic era," hinting at the exclusion of characters portrayed by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who first appeared in Colin Trevorrow's 2015 film Jurassic World. Subsequently, J.A. Bayona directed the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in 2015.
Sam Neill, Laura Dern , and Jeff Goldblum, who portrayed characters in the original Jurassic Park series, are not expected to reprise their roles in the fourth Jurassic World film. Despite their past collaboration with Pratt and Howard in Dominion, it seems unlikely that the trio will return for the upcoming installment.
Spielberg is slated to act as the executive producer for the upcoming film under his production company, Amblin Entertainment. Joining him as producers are Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley , both of whom are familiar faces from Jurassic Park. Additionally, Leitch and Kelly McCormick from 87North will also be contributing as producers to the project.
