Assam Police Arrest Four More in Cyber Crime Investigation, Total Arrests Reach 14

Kamrup, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : Assam police have intensified their investigation into suspected cyber crime activities, leading to the arrest of four more individuals in Kamrup district. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to 14. Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police for the Boko-Chhaygaon subdivision, officers from the local police stations conducted a joint operation in various areas of Tupamari.The arrested suspects have been identified as Mahsood Ahmed from Tangnamari, and Intazul Haque, Habib Uddin, and Saiful Islam from the Tupamari area. Following the arrests, police teams searched the homes of the suspects to uncover more about the alleged cyber crime network. During these searches, investigators discovered several ATM cards, bank passbooks, chequebooks, and other documents. Authorities are currently analyzing the seized items to determine if they are linked to the suspected cyber crime activities and to identify any financial or operational connections among the suspects.With these latest arrests, a total of 14 individuals have been detained from various locations in Tupamari as part of the ongoing investigation.
