BJP Appoints Anil Baluni as Media Coordinator, Ashish Usha Agarwal Takes Over National Media Role

New Delhi, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Member of Parliament Anil Baluni as the coordinator for its media department. Ashish Usha Agarwal has been named the national media head. Both appointments are effective immediately, according to an official statement from the party. Following his new appointment, Baluni met with BJP National President Nitin Naveen.He shared on the social media platform X that he sought the president's blessings and guidance for his new responsibilities in the communications department. In his role, Baluni will oversee coordination between the party's national media and social media units. Previously, he held the position of national media head, which has now been assigned to Agarwal. Additionally, Nitin Naveen conducted a meeting with national secretaries at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.This meeting coincided with the party's recent announcement of significant organizational changes, including the appointment of new in-charges and co-in-charges for various states and union territories. The BJP has appointed coordinators for all 28 states and eight union territories. Senior leader Smriti Irani will oversee Haryana and Chhattisgarh, while Ram Madhav has been tasked with Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand. In Uttar Pradesh, Vinod Tawde has been appointed as in-charge, supported by co-in-charges Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Pradeep Verma, and Anand Ojha.The responsibility for Maharashtra has been given to Baijayant Jay Panda, along with co-in-charges Amit Malviya, Sadanand Shet Tanawade, and Kamaljeet Sahrawat. Sunil Bansal will oversee Telangana and West Bengal, while Harish Dwivedi is responsible for Bihar and Karnataka. Satish Poonia has been appointed in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Punjab. These appointments are viewed as a significant step towards strengthening the BJP's organizational structure ahead of upcoming elections and events.The party has emphasized that these changes are effective immediately.
