Ghaziabad, October 8 (Daily Kiran) : The Indian Air Force marked its 94th anniversary on October 8 with a grand parade at Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad. The event was attended by Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Army Chief General Dheeraj Seth, Navy Chief Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, along with other air warriors and former air force chiefs. In his address, Air Chief Marshal Singh expressed pride in his role, noting that he will soon pass command to his successor.

He urged every air warrior to commit to not becoming a weak link, emphasizing that the strength of the Air Force relies on each member. Singh highlighted the importance of fostering an environment of mutual respect within the force, free from bias or discrimination. He encouraged air warriors to prioritize the organization’s interests over personal ones, reinforcing that each member plays a vital role. He stressed the necessity of self-reflection, stating that merely moving forward is not enough; progress must be in the right direction.
Singh reminded the personnel that the interests of the Air Force must always take precedence over individual ambitions, advocating for a principle of "service before self."
