Mamata Banerjee to Address Opposition Strategies at Rally in Shrirampur

Shrirampur, September 25 (Udaipur Kiran) : TMC leader Kunal Ghosh has responded to the ongoing controversy surrounding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, emphasizing the unified stance of opposition parties against him. He announced that former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will deliver a message regarding the party's strategy at a rally scheduled for Saturday in Shrirampur.Ghosh stated that Banerjee will elaborate on the implications of the allegations against Kumar and outline the next steps for the state regarding this issue. He noted that Banerjee aims to consolidate senior leaders nationally to advance the movement. Initially, the government had denied permission for Banerjee's rally in Shrirampur, but it is now taking place following a court order. A significant number of TMC workers are expected to attend. Banerjee plans to address the current political situation and the role of non-BJP, secular, democratic, and progressive forces in both Bengal and the country.Ghosh asserted that the opposition to Gyanesh Kumar has evolved into a significant issue among various political parties and the public. He pointed out that Banerjee was the first to raise concerns about this matter, which has since gained traction with other parties, including Congress and the Samajwadi Party, joining the protests. He highlighted that ordinary citizens, particularly the youth, are also rallying to protect democracy. Additionally, Ghosh questioned the BJP's election spending, claiming that the party has expended the most during elections in Bengal, reflecting its electoral confidence.
