MP CM Yadav cuts short Delhi visit, reaches Rewa to take stock of flood situation

Rewa, Aug 30 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Rewa directly from New Delhi late Saturday night and reviewed the flood and waterlogging situation in Rewa and Satna districts, directing officials to ensure food, clothing and clean drinking water for people affected by the rains.

CM Yadav cancelled his pre-scheduled programme in Delhi and travelled to Rewa amid the deteriorating situation in Chitrakoot, where the water level of the Mandakini River has risen following continuous heavy rainfall.
