Cybercrime branch files case, probe underway 
Feeling pressured, the couple ended up transferring ₹58 lakh across seven transactions before realizing they'd been tricked.
Once the scammer stopped responding, they reported it to the Cybercrime Branch.
Police have registered a case under BNS and IT Act, and as Vijay Rana, station house officer, Cybercrime Branch, put it, "A case was registered at the Cybercrime Branch police station on Wednesday, and a probe is underway."
