Police Uncover Major Theft in Noida, Recover Jewelry and Cash Worth ₹16 Lakhs from Minor

Noida, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Noida police have made a significant breakthrough in a theft case, apprehending a minor suspect in connection with the crime. The authorities recovered approximately ₹16 lakhs worth of gold and silver jewelry, along with ₹1,09,650 in cash. The investigation was initiated on September 20, when a local resident reported the theft of valuable jewelry and cash from their home at the Sector-39 police station.Based on this complaint, police registered a case and launched an inquiry. To uncover the details of the incident, a specialized police team was formed. They utilized both manual intelligence and electronic surveillance to gather crucial information. This led to the arrest of the minor suspect on September 22 in the Sector-47/48 area. According to police claims, the recovered items include a gold necklace, two bangles, two mangalsutras, three chains, a maang tikka, a nose ring, two rings, an Om pendant, and three pairs of earrings.Additionally, three pairs of silver anklets were also retrieved, along with the cash. Authorities are currently investigating the minor's background and any potential accomplices involved in the theft.
