Subhadra Yojana: Fifth Instalment of Rs 5,000 Released, Check Your Bank Account
More than 1 crore women in Odisha have received the fifth instalment of Rs 5,000 under the Subhadra Yojana . The state government transferred a total of Rs 5,160 crore to beneficiaries on 28 August.
This instalment also expanded the beneficiary list, with another 2.21 lakh women included this time.
The first instalment is provided on Raksha Bandhan, while the second is given on International Women's Day. Over five years, a beneficiary can receive up to Rs 50,000 under the scheme.
If the amount has not been credited, beneficiaries should check their bank account and application details. Any mismatch or discrepancy in the information can sometimes result in a delay in receiving the payment.
Eligible women residing in Odisha can apply under the National Food Security and State Food Security Act. Women aged between 21 and 60 years can qualify if their annual income is below Rs 2.5 lakh.
However, women already receiving more than Rs 1,500 per month through state schemes or other financial assistance, including pensions, are not eligible.
Applicants need to fill in accurate details, attach a passport-sized photograph and self-attest the required documents. The completed form must then be submitted at a Common Service Center.
Applicants should also collect a receipt after submitting the form.
After the required verification, eligible new applicants can be added to the beneficiary list and receive the scheme's benefits.

Women Receive Rs 10,000 Every Year
