The cousins, identified as Narendra Verma (19) and Pushpendra Verma (18), were discovered hanging from a tree in the very same location where their loves, Nilam Sharma (20) and Roshni Sharma (18), had taken their own lives just two days earlier. Originating from Gaindoli village, the Sharma sisters were involved in a romantic relationship with the Verma brothers from Devgaon village in Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh. The teenagers were evidently distressed by the tragic demise of the girls, a situation exacerbated by the fact that familial obligations had forced them to reject the idea of marriage.

The couple, engaged in an extramarital relationship, was discovered inside a locked room in the guesthouse. The police have initiated a case, and the bodies have been shifted for postmortem examination.
