NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday slammed the PM Modi led BJP government over unemployment and alleged that its policies had weakened the path from education to employment for young Indians.
In a post on X, Kharge cited Niti Aayog and PLFS figures to claim that 8.7 crore Indians aged 15 to 29 are neither in education, employment nor training, while youth unemployment stands at 15.6%.
